Sean ONeil
Hello NYC PSC Cart Owners ! Ok, well perhaps a "Powder Coating Party" is stretching things a bit, but, if we get enough people I'll pitch in for a case of Schlitz. Two things are happening here: 1) I'm rebuilding my PSC cart, and looking for any other NYC cart nerds who might be looking to re-paint their carts with a nice new powder coating to help bring the price down for all of us. 2) All my shelves are bent to hell, and I'm looking to replace them. I found a guy in Brooklyn, who can fabricate them. (OK, I know that part sounds a little sketchy, but stay with me here . . . .) If we have enough people who need shelves, we can bring the price down on the shelves as well. Also they don't have to be the exact (17" x 18") PSC shelves or cart frame that you need powder coated. If you have any other metalwork, within reasonable sizing, that could work as well. C'mon . . .who's down? Contact me via email below. Sean ONeil
Vin, You're killin' me. Don't be a cheapo. How much could a round trip airfare from Bombay to JFK possibly cost? You'll be missed! Cheers, Sean O'Neil Brooklyn NYC

Marc Wielage
Wish I was in NYC, Sean! Would love to hang out. It's very cool to see the powder-coating guys do their thing. They can do amazing work.
Karl Wasserman
Hey, Sean! Who's your shelf fabricator in Brooklyn? Also, I might be down for a powdercoat on an old PSC cart I've got, once I've built a replacement bottom shelf.
Philip Perkins
PSC cart > powder coat= highly recommended. Be bold! Go for a color! philp
Sean ONeil
Hi Karl, The shelf fabricator is a couple of blocks from me in Sunset Park, Bklyn: Precision Metal Fabricators. I showed them my dinged up old PSC shelves, and they said they could replicate it. The hiccup is that the minimum order/set up fee is $250. At the time, I wanted 4 new shelves (@ $75 ea. from PSC) so it wasn't really worth the hassle. If a few peeps were in need, it might have made sense. I am however keeping PMF in mind for customizing the upper portion of my cart, which has been conveniently placed on the back burner the last month or so. As far as powdercoating, I have two peeps in mind: 1) Ever Nu Metal in Bklyn, and 2) Dayton Gray in Asbury Park NJ. If memory serves, DG quoted me $150 AND that included free pick up and delivery from my HOUSE. Who the hell does that these days? Ever Nu quoted me a bit more if I'm not mistaken, but I will revisit that when I get to that stage. Phil, I will take your encouragement of bold colors to heart. I took your advice already and upgraded to the airless 20" tires, thanks for the head up. Cheers, Sean O'Neil Brooklyn NYC
