old school
World renown Key Grip and inventor of many things, Mr Herb Ault has a new offering. He invented and owns the Grip Trix and now that they are using remote arms and cranes on them, they need very clean power for the remote controls, so he came up with a sweet Lithium Ion system called CineJuice. Today it is running Sound, Video Assist, Video Village, and the DIT. 300 AH for each unit. No noise and very clean & green power. Personally I dig it. Also a big fan of Herb Ault. Jeff Wexler
Bravo! I'm a big fan of Herb Ault as well --- he is truly the total filmmaker with an understanding of the needs of ALL departments. I owe the quality of many of the soundtracks we've done to Herb's innovative and creative approach to the work we do together.

old school
Thanks Marc. I should of thought of that... That's why they call it dope... For the record, this unit ran us all day. Very clean power which can be a big issue when it's not so. Video Village (1 large monitor), Directors cart monitors (2), Video assist and sound cart power, DIT, Camera Wireless Clear Com, and various batteries charging. It all fit in a cable/sandbag cart. I hope it catches on. CrewC
boomhead
Last fall we had it on a glacier in Iceland where a Genny would have been a disaster. They also used it on a pod driven pickup truck with HMI's mounted on the front. Usable dialogue even with an IMAX camera. Love Herb's Cine Juice. Ask for it by name.
