Jobo Posted July 18, 2014 Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 Just caught the Field of Dreams Special on MLB Network in my hotel room. First off, what a great movie to revisit 25 yrs later. I remember it fondly as a kid, one of those films that I can still sit down and watch all the way through whenever I'm surfing for something and stumble onto it. Secondly, kudos to the mixer (they didn't roll credits, just rolled straight into a Segway with Bob Costas introducing Bull Durham) who battled a good bit of wind during the 3 person interview with Bob, Kevin Costner, and that other dude from the movie that just trys to hate on "Ray" the whole time. That guy was a douche. Anyways, during the dolly heavy interview, you can clearly see its very windy on set as they have returned to where the movie was shot in the cornfields for the interview. I couldn't hear much wind noise between the 3 lavs. Costner was wearing a white, loosely buttoned long sleeve, the others looked like more agreeable shirts to conceal wind. Dances with Wolves and Field of Dreams were shot back to back if I remember right. Russel mixing and Albert Aquino booming. Forgot who was 3rding. Yes I realize that Busfield is an actor playing a character in a movie, and he himself does not in fact hate Costner or the character he plays in the movie. I just could remember Busfield's name.
