airport70
Since upgrading to the latest firmware my QRX receivers occasionally give warnings which I can't find any reference to, the QRX 200s flash VCO = 0.770 and the QRX100s flash VCO = 0.8, I read on the Zaxcom forums that the second warning might be a chip fault and might require going back to the mothership, but surely, unless I'm extreme unlucky and lighting has struck 6 times, there's another reason for this. Has anyone else had this issue and can spread any light? The actual performance of the receivers are satisfactory
Wandering Ear
I had to send my qrx in for repair when I had that warning. Although it did work fine. Howy added a menu option to disable the warning if you decide to keep using it. There is potential for dropouts to be longer than they should be. studiomprd
airport: " I read on the Zaxcom forums that the second warning might be a chip fault and might require going back to the mothership, but surely, unless I'm extreme unlucky and lighting has struck 6 times, there's another reason for this. " why? (and don't call me Shirley) and: " Has anyone else had this issue and can spread any light? " yes: it indicates a possible chip fault, or an internal adjustment out of spec, neither user serviceable Edited July 18, 2014 by studiomprd
glenn
This sounds like a simple calibration adjustment that our dealer in the UK can do. It does not need to come back to us. The unit will work fine like this. It is only a warning that the adjustment should be made. Glenn
