Freeheel
Raise your working surface up and solder while standing. I've tried a lot of chairs and realized that the body (or my body anyway) does not like to be in a seated position for long periods of time... cmassey
+1...been standing to solder for a couple of years, and find it much better. Threw down one of those gel kitchen mats to stand on, and never looked back.... But to the OP's real question...my last chair was a high directors chair and I had the bench on adjustable legs! Eric Toline
I'm too old to stand for long periods so I use a standard rolling office chair with arms. Eric
Constantin
+1 for standing. And I've added a comfy bar stool as backup

osa
nope we haven't even touched on the color of the chair. herman miller with florida colors? i have a hard time with the idea of standing, only because i am so used to sitting with the magnifier light arm. i guess i could give standing a try with the arm and see how it works out.
