Soundequip
Hi all Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a Tram TR-50 to Lectrosonics TA5F. It's the SM-series wiring that's backward-compatible to UM I'm after to assist a colleague. Thank you Soundequip

Soundequip
Hi Peter and Nathan Thanks for the info. The Tram TR-50 AFAIK may be neg-biased as I found in a user manual online they seem to have been produced both ways. It doesn't want to work with the standard pos-biased wiring in the SMB user manual. Have we blown its mind? If not, how should we wire it? Eric Toline
Hi Peter and Nathan Thanks for the info. It doesn't want to work with the standard pos-biased wiring in the SMB user manual. Have we blown its mind? If not, how should we wire it? For a negative bias Tram to a TA5 the ground goes to pin 3 and the positive goes to pin 1. Jump pins 2 & 4. No connection to pin 5 as that's for a line level input. There should be a minus sign (-) marking on the capsule body indicating negative bias. Eric
