Lma battery doors for eliminator

Hi everyone,

I have been using 2 Lma transmittting to SRb for camera link. I am very happy with this setup except for the fact that I have to constantly monitor battery levels on the Lma.

I have searched the net for replacement battery doors that would allow me to switch to battery eliminators on the Lma but haven't found much about it.

Where can I buy spare LMa doors ?

Do they exist with pre-made holes or do I have to drill the doors myself ?

In the latter case, would anyone here that has done it offer some advice on the process ?

Thank you,

David.

You can put the battery eliminator in, then rotate the battery door 180 degrees and it will hold the battery in, and allow the dc plug to fit in the eliminator.  Been working like a charm for a year now.

This is by far the easiest thing to do. The door and pivot is quite stout and you won't hurt anything doing this even if the setup takes a knock.
