pampasound
Has anyone tested this product? http://www.trewaudio.com/store/Rycote-Super-Shield.html
Bash
A little bird told me that Rycote might be making an announcement this week....... See the thread here on JWS about Cyclone.... I wouldnt spend a lot of time testing that older model ;-)) Kindest, sb
Mark LeBlanc
I've used them on 2 shows now.. Bought 1 new and bought 2 new pods for my original S Series model.. They work very well. Have used them in light wind without the full fur on and had no issues. Not sure what Rycote has coming out but happy with my purchase... bralleput
I wonder if there is any difference between this and the older models: windwise?!
Mark LeBlanc
Yes there is a difference. I still have the original pods and one night wind kicked up just enough to start moving the limbs and caught some wind blasts on the 416. Swapped the original pods back in and that dealt with the wind issue.. It feels like I know have a low / medium and high wind solution...
