ALLEYcatAUDIO
Charged batteries. Hooked everything up, press "pwr" and the LCD turns white for a second then nothing. Tried internal power and the same thing. It seems to not be booting up. Any advise? At a gig now and totally bummed
Michael Miramontes
Yes, CALL ZAXCOM. They will most likely be able to help you out a lot quicker.

hiro nakamura
My Maxx got power failure, could not boot up last year. There was nothing I can do on that moment. Need to open the shell and do some electrician work. I didn't do it, but sent back to the mothership. Check your serial number, I heard the first batch having power safety problem. studiomprd
Keith: " Any advise? " there was an issue with early MAXX's, but that was a good while back... where have you been.? it could be: "CRAP happens" courtesy of Murphy... macrecorder
Try the emergency reset, which is if I remember press stop whilst power up. this is not documented very well, if at all. I had this issue and was told this was in the manual, you will struggle to find it, though. I don't think anyone at the time knew about it, including dealers. Michael Miramontes
So, did you figure it out? Where you able to work today? Did you get fired? What happened?
ALLEYcatAUDIO
Tried everything I could think of. CF card in/ out, "*" and "stop" restarts, and still Nada. I have a back up unit that travels with me, so I was able to do the job today. Took it over to Audio Department where they could not get her going either, so they will have to open it up. I should hear something tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I'll post updates as they come.
Prahlad Strickland
Mine has done this... the white screen, What I found was that it was just the LCD screen not working... Did you try recording anything as it was?, or able to hear any sound? curious, I opened it up and made sure the lcd chip was seated... fixed it... maybe I can be a zaxcom repair specialist, hehe Anyways, curious if it was the same problem as you since the lcd your saying was white also
