Mike Kujbida
I came across these on a woodworking site I buy equipment from. The price is right (AAA & AA - $2.95 and $3.50 for 9V.) so I thought some of you might be interested. http://www.leevalley.com/US/wood/page.aspx?p=72292&cat=51&ap=
ShubiSnax
Lectro gives out the AA ones every now and then with a purchase and they're great. I've used that same 9v caddy before and I found the little clips that hold the batteries in will break pretty easily. I prefer the iPower ones for 9v. Sound Grab
I've started moving away from these. They destroy the plastic covering on rechargeables.
fieldmixer
The 9v caddies are great. Although, those do look like the type where a clip breaks, that being said, I got mine from a different company a long time ago, could have been the particular plastic they were using then. Definitely worth a try at 3.50$.
dominiquegreffard
I've started moving away from these. They destroy the plastic covering on rechargeables. That s what i noticed too on my powerex's aa. Eneloop wraps seems to hold better
taylormadeaudio
Same here - I only use the 1.5 v holsters, and only for non-rechargeable batts -- for the same reason as above. Ditto re: the iPower 9V clips - well made, and they come with the batts. ~tt
John Blankenship
An inventive pilot, with the nickname "Tools," originally came up with these and they sold on his web site toolsaviation.com. Since their release several years back, the tabs have been made more robust and they are now widely distributed, as are the inevitable knockoffs. RomanH
I use their new 9v caddies, the clip seems pretty sturdy. As the plastic covering on my powerex only came off before i started putting them in caddies

Reinout Weebers
Hi guys, I've had many different cheap plastic battery clips. The only ones that still live are the yellow 9V clips that came with my LiPo's. A while back I made a robust case for my AA's and AAA's as I like to use rechargeable a. Its a Peli 1030 case with a custom divider I made from PVC. The AA's fit well and upside down is empty. I d like to have a single box to put 30 aa's or so and that looks like a good solution.
Boomboom
... Got a bunch of these and I love'em... Good quality plastic. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/491481-REG
Michael Miramontes
I wish someone made a AA holder that resembles a 30 round bullet clip. Sure it wouldn't go well with TSA but it sure would be handy.
Mixalot
I love these. http://www.pro-sound.com/p/SBATCLIPAA.html
Malcolm Davies Amps CAS
The range of the batterey clips that Mixalot mentions have their problems. In the UK PP3 (9v) are supplied with a small plastic pip on the Pos terminal. They will not fit in the clip without jamming so you have to remove them to fit in the clip. This is counterproductive as the way I work is that a 9volt with the pip is OK, without the pip it's been used. I did bring this problem to the attention of Richard Topham who supplied the clips and he was going to contact the manufacturer but I haven't heard back. patrickveigel
I've been using these for a couple of years now: http://www.amazon.de/ANSMANN-Akkubox-Batteriebox-Akkus-Batterien/dp/B003Q8KO3Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415957062&sr=8-1&keywords=ansmann+batterie+box
Matthias Richter
Me too. They just have changed the material. The latch doesnt hold as strong on some boxes. Just order 2x 5boxes, pick the good 5 and return the others.
Constantin
I use those as well. But they do break easily
Todd Weaver
I haven't noticed damage on my powerex AA from the caddies.. Seems they get worn most popping in and out of the charger. Many of my AA bats never see caddies. The caddies are made of soft plastic. The chargers have sturdy metal contacts which are harder than the wrapping on the powerex and get scraped on every time someone in a hurry puts one on charge or takes it off. The good news here is that it prevents you from retaining super old batteries with a waning capacity.
Jo Jo Johnny
I agree with Todd ^ Most damage seems to come from the chargers when care is not given. I love these caddies. I can have a quick stash in my pocket or bag with a bigger stash in my peli kit. Heads down for charged… Heads up for used.
Derek H
For AAs I just use two cloth pencil pouches. One yellow, one gray. Hot off the charger it goes in the yellow, after use it goes in the gray. Works great, holds a ton. Easy to pack. In the sound bag I carry a small case of 8. 9 volts? I've pretty much eliminated them from my kit.
Olle Sjostrom
I sometimes use the cases that come with any DPA purchase. There's a little divider in there, but if you cut that out, the box fits 8 AAs, the box is great in quality and if you're into DPA you've probably got a ton of them already. Really, every little thing you buy from DPA comes in that box no matter how small.

But I prefer the layout of Ansmann cases (vertical)
