old school
A Hollywood/LA legend has passed away. We never knew his full name or back story, to us he was Kenny the Knife Guy. Wherever we shot in DT LA, Kenny would roll up on his bicycle with a raggedy box full of knifes for sale. Somehow he knew where every film crew was shooting and he'd make his rounds. Most people I know bought at least one at some point in time. I hear it was a sudden heart attack that took him down. RIP Kenny. You were an institution and will be missed by many. old school
I thought it was Kenny. I'm told it was Jerry. We knew him as Knife Guy. RIP. CrewC
Mirror
Jerry the $5 knife guy was great. I'm very sad to hear about his passing, I truly enjoyed talking to him. I can't tell you how many of knives and gizmos he sold me. He will be missed.
