Hello,

I have been thinking to buy used Deva V. Only thing what I am thinking that will there be problems if it breaks? Is that machine easily repaired or are parts too hard to get or something that repairing the machine is not easy or too expensive? Any thoughts.

Beside that machine looks perfect.

I think someone told me there is a legal requirement in some countries to support items for 10 years after sale. So depending on when the Deva V was last a "current" item, you should have 10 years from there to have reliable support. In theory.

I expect you're getting a good deal, so it's more than likely worth it, if the Deva V offers the features you're looking for.

The Devas are awesome machines and are used by a large number of mixers on many of the top films shot today. So, if Zaxcom were to drop support on them too soon, it would likely do severe damage to the company's reputation. I don't envision that happening.

When Zaxcom dealt with my Deva V last year, I was quite happy with the results -- they went above and beyond.

I wouldn't be at all hesitant to buy a good used one.
