dfisk
We are really excited to announce that K-Tek is hosting an open house at our factory on Sunday March 8th. We'll have food, tasty beverages, an interesting panel discussion, factory tour, and time to hang out with the K-Tek staff and ask questions and see how things are done. This is a great opportunity for boom operators to get together and see how and why we make what we make and talk about the art of booming and how it has evolved over the years. We'll also show you some new stuff! We are arranging transportation from the LA area down to our factory in Vista, CA and then back up to the LA area. Here's the important thing. Space is limited, so we have an RSVP form. If you want to come, it is important that you RSVP using our online form. You will then receive a confirmation email with additional information. If for some reason you RSVP, and then you cannot attend, please let us know right away so. It's going to be a lot of fun. Ze Frias
Jealous of all my LA friends who are not only enjoying much better weather than we are here in NYC, but that also get the opportunity to partake in this open house. dfisk
We're almost full, so get that RSVP in now while you can!
dfisk
If you are able to come to the open house and haven't gotten your RSVP in yet, do so now. We don't want you to show up and there be an empty keg and not enough food.
John Blankenship
I'm not coming because there has been no confirmation of bacon. ...Well, it's that and the 2,074 mi. commute.
Jon Gilbert
I'm not put off by the 5,327 mile trip, but it's my birthday that day, so I have other plans.

We'll have one of those giant cakes that someone pops out of, but instead of a stripper it'll be a boom pole.

dfisk
With bacon?? Unfortunately I am not in charge of the food. If I was there would just be piles of bacon. Bacon for miles..and a salad for the vegetarians.

Shastapete
If Keanu Reeves shows up would the movie be called "Sound Speed?" Just keep that thing moving faster than 15ips and you'll all be ok.
