Congratulations all around, but especially to NYC production mixer Tom Varga and his boom operator Brendan O'Brien and utility / 2nd boom Adam Sanchez whose "Birdman" effort was extraordinary. So good that a motion picture that clearly relied on stick-mounted mics for much of the dialog got a huge nod of approval from the sound community. Makes me very happy.
