BWilson
I thought the zeros roundness related to the sound of the bottom end

Richard Ragon
Sony, just change the brand name too Monster Card.
John Blankenship
The marketing department at Sony apparently forgot about the existence of the Internet -- and its speed and power. It's somehow poetic that so many ones and zeros are being employed to make a laughing stock of the clueless electronics giant.
Olle Sjostrom
Trying to make a joke about this, but they already did that.
Ze Frias
Will it automatically make the Sound Devices approved media list?
Constantin
It's somehow poetic that so many ones and zeros are being employed to make a laughing stock of the clueless electronics giant. I suspect more zeros than ones are being employed...
codyman
They just released a $1,200 walkman that does the same things / sounds the same as a couple hundred dollar MP3 player so they really are on a roll right now!

Jeremiah Sheets
Sony isn't clueless. They know it's nonsense. They will find people to buy them and they will make a lot of money. It just ain't gonna be me.
George Tsai
Well, theoretically speaking it's to isolate noise be it emi or crosstalk between memory and the device which actually does exist. It theoretically can and does affect signaling anywhere in the device if not shielded. Practically speaking it's like worrying that your eye drop will offset the balance of the ocean's ecosystem... If emi or crosstalk from a memory device affects your player, it's time to get a new player:-P
