Ruvis
Good day my fellow sound peeps. Not sure if I'm posting in the right thread.Sorry if I do!! Just a question.... I usually use the NP-F970 lithium batteries on my SRb receiver and it lasts a few days. Bought a NP-F550 today and just want to know what the average hours you guys get out of it?Or should I rather ask,at what voltage does the SRb switches off? Thank you in advance
LarryF
Hi Ruvis, From the data sheet for the SRb on WWW.lectrosonics.com, the run time is "Typical runtime with a 7.2 V, 2200 mA “L” style battery is approximately 11 hours." If you have a battery with a different rating, you can take a ratio. Be aware (Beware) that most generic "replacement" batteries are usually junk and typically have less than half their rated capacity. The SRb will run from the battery until the protection circuity in the battery shuts down, typically around 5.5 Volts. Best Regards, Larry Fisher Lectrosonics
osa
Mine usually last 5-6 hrs per full charge continuous. Easily a full day if you manage your on/off times -Ken
al mcguire
I swap mine out at lunch. More reliable method than expecting camera op to notice no audio signal.
Derek H
I get 10-11 hours, which is amazing for such a small pack. Buy three and you're set for life.

Nathaniel Robinson
Yup, making it to lunch easily with my knockoffs (DSTE brand on Amazon). Camera seems to grumble less than when using the NPF970. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I ordered a NP-40 battery rated at 1400 mAh. Will test when it gets here Friday and see how it does. DTSE seems to have an extensive line. If it doesn't make at least 700 mAh, Amazon will get it back. Best, Larry F Lectro
Ruvis
That's exactly why I've ordered the 550 Nathaniel.I have to do a velcro job on the SRb onto camera. So less strain on velcro.Keep you guys posted. Thank you all for the reply, you guys rock!!
