aginzo
Wanting to find out from all the JW folk out there what you all use as a case/pouch/ bag for wireless lab kits like moleskin, topstick, medical, tape, extra mics, scissors, foam, etc for a more portable option. I've seen may guys out there use a briefcase type of case to hold all of that. I've used for years a tackle pouch type that opens up from a fold and it has visible see through pockets to get what you need in a hurry. Mine is starting to break and I cannot find where I bought it. They may not make it anymore. I'm looking for something that is relatively small, foldable and takes little space but can hold a lot. Yeah, I know I'm asking for basically a "D&D bag of infinite holding". Just wanted to see what all of you use as a way to keep all of you wiring needs in. Thanks for the help. daniel
i use the triple version (check drop down) of 1 of these: http://www.screenface.co.uk/bags/small-clear-artist-bags/screenface-single-wallet.htm A lav in each of the first 2 pockets, the accessories in the last. Any bulkier accessories i need (eg waist bands) go in something else as what i can fit into these wallets covers most of what i need. There are a lot of different clear pouches available from these places so if you like the concept you'll find as size that works. I got fed up with little boxes for such things as they took up more room in the mixer bag and had a greater potential to loose things if dropped while open. dan
dustinguished
I finally got a new hip pouch after my other one broke down. I keep my moleskin, topstick, mini gaff tape, wireless accessory pouch and even a few leg bands in there, among other things. What's the best way to post photos on this site? did these come thru? https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A95VaUrzLGbG5 https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A9GtnIORGscPB3
Nick Ray Harris
When I utility I use a Chrome Hip Pouch made for bike messengers, its waterproof and I've shoved transmitters in it during unexpected downpours. I run my belt though it and its pretty low profile. I feel like the filmtools pouches that ACs have could probably hold more.
Shastapete
Haven't got it yet, but I'll be soon getting a "Halfbelt Rugged" from Fabric Horse I'm just coming off a gig where I'm set up at a cart but have had 60 people to Lav over 4 days, It would've been nice to have a more organized collection of "tools"
