They are bought out on a 15 way D plug, therefore interconnection to the recorder is via a single cable. The main output is also bought out on a 3 pin XLR. The analogue outputs are retained and can be used simultaneously. The digital output can be retro fit by us to both the AD146 & AD149. 8 input or larger frames.
