Wanting to make a female mini to make xlr converter Just wondering if you could give me a hand with the pins on the mini female and the male xlr. Some dragons Ive seen recently have been using their rails that basically hardwire xlrs onto the rail and are not removeable so forced to run xlr. Eric Toline Posted March 18, 2015 Report Share Posted March 18, 2015 The EXR outputs are all unbalanced with TC & audio sharing the same ground circuit. Normal output is TC from the tip & audio from the ring. Wiring a female 3.5mm extention is easy as it's just tip & sleeve/ground. The audio out XLR is wired ground to pins 1 & 3 and and audio or positive to pin 2. Hopefully this will give you the information you require.
