Harold and Maude Production Still

One of my jobs in the Art Dept. was to prepare all the funeral scenes we did. Who knew you could rent coffins? Seriously, I had to learn more about floral arrangements, caskets, "eternal life" fabrics that line the interior (costs extra).

Jeff my wife is a huge Harold and Maude fan. She saw the photos and she would love to talk to you about some behind the scenes gossip.

Anytime, Jack, I love to talk about the movie for so many reasons, lots of stories to tell. I was involved in it from the very first casting sessions all the way through production. One of the most important experiences of my life and the one that made the decision for me to work on movies instead of becoming a teacher.

“Vice, virtue – it’s best not to be too moral.  You’ll cheat yourself out of too much life.”

"Don’t get so officious, you’re not yourself when you’re officious. That’s the curse of a government job.”

"Try something new each day.  After all, we’re given life to find it out. It doesn’t last forever.”
