chris_bollard
Wanted to check in the wider world if anyone is experiencing this issue with their Zaxcom Stereoline transmitter. Occassionally when I power up the unit fails to power up - no little flashing LED - no signal transmitted. Turn the power off and on again (Hawkswoods adapter) and up it comes. I have spoken to friends and they report experiencing the same Any comments - Fixes? Thanks Chris B
Rob Lewis
Chris, I have experienced the same thing with my stereoline TX. I happens with both the Hawks woods and the BDS system, but I don't know why. I just confirm visually that it fires up when I hit the switch so I don't get burned. jason porter
my transmitter was shorting out...my own fault. I opened the case and when I closed it again, the case was shorting on one of the circuit boards. (or the battery contacts) It would only happen when I clipped it to my bag (and put enough pressure on the case near the battery compartment, from the belt-clip) I added a little bit of insulation (electrical tape) on the inside of the case, and no problems since
