johnpaul215
You can always check the life with maha charger That probably makes a lot more sense than the date system. I'm sure my usage is kind of uneven, and some batteries probably just have better insulation and will therefore last longer.
Toy Robot
Although I have not been disappointed with my older white Eneloops, I bought a 4-pack of the black Sanyo Eneloop Pros after reading people's great experiences. Tried them out in my SMQVs and immediately ordered 16 more. I'll be using these now exclusively in talent TX, with my white Eneloops now relegated to ERXs, slates and other AA purposes. efksound
Sorry for the small off topic, but what kind of rechargeables are you guys using with a TS-C slate ? With Eneloops, amazon, duracells, I have a hardtime inserting the battery sled in the compartment and it's impossible to get it out without using a tool. al mcguire
I use all of the above and yes, you do need a small tool to remove the batteries. I think that is because Denecke knows that the slate will not always be treated in gentle manner and keeping the power connected is paramount. efksound
Ok I see, it just makes removing the sled and replacing it with a new one with fresh batteries a bit slower when you are in the heat of the battle :-)

Alex, this is exactly what I do. Black envelops on talent TX, and white for pretty much everything else. Haven't looked back.

osa
Does anyone here possibly have runtimes on LT's or LTH's single battery use on these black eneloop pro's? I have no experience w LT's but i can only assume not so good results esp at 50 and 125mw. Hoping i might be wrong -Ken
berniebeaudry
I have the LTs and use the black Eneloops. There was an update on my LTs for a component that was drawing too much power. I haven't had the opportunity to do a serious run time test since I got them back but previously I would get roughly four hours on 50mw. Im sure its better now. KRF
I have been using KentLi lithium ion AA batteries for approaching 18 months now. They give me three hours in SMVs at 100 with around half an hour extra. This is the same as I was getting with Eneloop black.

Philip Perkins
Do the Eneloops swell up enough in use that they are hard to get out of Lectro SM-series TX after they get hot? Sound Devices mixers and recorders?
afewmoreyears
I have never had any of the Black Eneloop pros swell in any of my gear... SD, Lectro, Denecke etc..
