Amp and omnidirectionnal antenna for boosting ERX not working

I have ordered from Zaxcom directly an omnidirectionnal antenna, one amp model HA2401G-1000 with a DC injector. All seems to work but it simply doesn't, I'm getting even less reach than with the whip. I've read all about it in the other thread about this set up and couldnt figure out what's the problem. Could it be the omnidirectonnal antenna? I was expecting a worse performance than with a directional, but nothing at all is quite strange. Dont have a qrx 100, using Nomad as the transmitter.

It is possible that the amp is not getting a strong enough a signal. I spent a week trying to troubleshoot why a new cable I had made would not work with my amp/antenna (same L-Com antenna model you have that I have been using for years). With the IFB-100 output set at 5, the amp did not function. Raising the output level to 7, amp worked perfectly (again and as always). Check to see the length of your cable (and of course the connectors and connections) between Nomad and the amp. I don't know how you set the output level from Nomad since I use the IFB-100 and IFB-200.

I really don't mean to sound condescending, but have you got the wiring from the DC injector to the amp correctly routed. When I got mine I wasnt sure and called the distributor to make certain. Mine works fantastically.

I wasn't sure either. First tried to figure it out my self (pure anxiety) but then had to look  in the manual for that - all is wired as written there.
