Henchman
Here's some shameless self promotion of my wifes Indiegogo fundraiser for her first film. http://igg.me/at/21XbkeDhaRA/x/892752
atheisticmystic
Mark, my hard-fought brother. What is the film about ? I didn't hear anything about that in the pitch. And why does Peggy sound so distant from the mic ??? I do wish you and Peggy much luck in your endeavor, and I really really really want to know what the film is about ? Tender Glow Best regards, Steven
Henchman
Well, it's about a woman who wakes up in an abandoned warehouse, and gets attacked by an unseen assailant. But there's a twist at the end. Peggy was recorded In a much too live room. We used the Samsung S6 to record all the interviews. And hers was the only one not recorded in a quiet studio space. This was my first video editing and creation endeavor. Hence the indiegogo. Hire professionals who know what they are doing. Tenderglow soon. VASI
A little research about successful Indiegogo (crowdfunding) campaign can be helpful. You have worked with experienced producers and you can ask them what they think; feedback. Add: - Plot summary - Characters - Cast & Crew - Where the money will go Please; change the font in the video and make them to not moved around. Promotion: Don't spam. Please don't post it every 4, 6 hours everywhere; even everyday. You must have popular social media accounts (like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc). Not your profile; the short film profile. Share unique content in each social media; don't post the same picture, article etc in all social media accounts. Share when there is a reason to share; not because you can. -- As for general "rule" (or movement): Create a short film which can be extented to feature film. Imitation Game was a short film before. So after the short film you can go to the production offices with already "short version" in your hands and half ready screenplay; not from the ground. I posted this for feedback and not to direct you. I hope to understand this! Have fun Best Vasileios
Henchman
We are going to finish putting all of the rest of the stuff together tomorrow. We can't give much of a summary, because it will give too much away.
Glen Trew
I'd use it as is. The affect might be unintentional, but it works with the intentional affect of the scratched black and white film segment. The filing technique, however... not sure what to do about that

The bad audio fits the picture. Yes, the filing technique....well, she is a writer, not an actor. And it's hard to file something without touching it. The bars are piece of a gate we bought at Home Depot and returned after the filming. The sound was added later.
