ek4
hi there, can someone bring some light into this.. when recording just to 6 iso tracks with 6 channels, is it possible to have the trims from the channels on the faders of the unit? or do you have to use this "auto mix "feature to trim a certain channel? i remember that when the nomads came out, the trim on the faders were not possible.. but now i heared that it is.. has it really changed? did not understood the manual there, sorry! (an never had the nomad in my hands..:-()
Jack Norflus
Yes you can assign a fader knob to control trim, remote control gain on a wireless transmitter or be a fader.
RadoStefanov
Trim on faders has been removed. It use to be option T on fader assign. I miss that option for when I record stereo and want to control 2 channels trim with one fader.

pindrop
Has been put back with experimental firmware v7.28T on Zaxcom forum. Though not on the date it claims? In fact Howy's dates are puzzling? 7.28T Jan 21 2015 experimental version to allow multiple trims one a single fader

Jason A
Compressor groups? I was just looking for this option last week. Linking compressors for stereo/multichannel recording. For some reason I thought this had been implemented already but couldn't find it anywhere so I guess not. Using iso atten. is a workaround, but would be nice to be able to link as well. Jack Norflus
In the input setup menu you can set the compressors to a group.
Jason A
Right. I was thinking about the post A/D, track compressors. In the input setup menu you can set the compressors to a group.
ek4
thanks to all! so it is possible, but just with the experimental firmware.. but.. when saying experimental firmware, what could be the flaws? minor things? or loosing entire recordings?
