Marc Hoppe
I updated my Nomad 10 firmware to 7.44 and did a factory reset. I have been trying to store my user settings in memory store 1, 2 and 3, but for some reason my Nomad doesn't store the Mix 8 profiles accurately. Have I overlooked something obvious (or not so obvious)? It seems to be able to store and recall with the analog faders just fine. This has been perplexing me. There has also been some other associated weirdness, such as when I power up when using the Mix 8, I hear and see signal coming through to the mix tracks and the outputs, though all the faders (both Mix 8 and rotary) are closed. Am I missing something or is this some sort of bugginess that needs to be worked out? Thanks. Marc Hoppe
John Blankenship
If weirdness occurs following a Nomad firmware upgrade, do a factory reset and rebuild your settings from scratch.
Marc Hoppe
That's what I've been trying to do. The weirdness still occurs after the factory reset.
John Blankenship
Does everything work properly when the Mix 8 is not connected?

Marc Hoppe
I just emailed Howy- I was asking here and on the facebook group because it was after Zaxcom business hours and was wondering if I was missing something obvious. Thanks. Marc This is some of that weirdness... Zax.mov
howy
I suspect you are seeing some Mix8 (and possibly FP8) bugs introduced because of a ton of code that has been added to support Nomad Touch and Oasis. I will see if I broke anything in that department. -howy
Wandering Ear
I've noticed a few bits of odd behavior with the mix8 recently, but I haven't been able to figure out the process to replicate it, so i haven't done anything about it.
