foliver
Hello all, i've bought an old 72 system. the tx is the one with the removable antenna, i want to make bkups input cables, but looking to the one Included with the unit ( line in) i see a component in the xlrF conector side that i cannot read on it any info, what can this be? A filter?, a resistance? thanks for your support. fabian Edited September 27, 2015 by foliver
David Waelder
I can only help you partway with this - we'll have to wait for a response from someone more closely familiar with cable wiring for Comtek transmitters for the specifics. Comteks input cables routinely incorporate a filter trap to prevent RF signals from feeding back into your mixer or recorder. Most probably that is what you are observing in the connector.
