fezedi
Interesting piece on the salaries in Hollywood. They missed out the sound department though! http://www.businessinsider.com/hollywood-salaries-revealed-from-execs-to-extras-who-makes-what-2015-
Jeff Wexler
Conspicuously there was no mention of SOUND people --- typical

afewmoreyears
No, but they list Craft service, the Stunt horse and the Wig maker...so all's good.. Out of sight, out of mind.....just like when we record and 20 people are walking around while talking and working through takes just like we are not even there... All of this normal... don't panic... I for one remember when none of this was true... many here on this site most likely do not... same as the rest of the crew... Many of the "young ones" now coming into various departments are not properly schooled by whomever is bringing them in under their wing. Sad but true... It seems just like us, our mics pick up nothing because THEY are not there either...
Richard Ragon
Maybe it being missed is a good thing.. I swear, every time something like this comes out, a flood of newbies comes into the biz. -Richard

traut
Years ago, I did screen test for Geisha with Spielberg. When we were rolling, NOBODY moved. It was heaven.
