tourtelot Posted October 8, 2015 Report Share Posted October 8, 2015 Okay. I'm stumped. A friend ask me to wire some new HMD26II sportscaster headsets to his G2 (SK100) body packs. Easy right? Mic hi (red) to 1/8" TRS tip, mic low (blue) and shield to ring and sleeve. Doesn't work. I have had the clip leads out and have tried every different combination (except the correct one apparently). No joy. What the heck am I doing wrong here? Weirdly, in this configuration, when I pull the connector out of the pack a wee bit, it works (which makes me think mic hot to ring. Clip leads? Nope. Thanks for any help on this. I have called Sennheiser tech service and they have told me the same as the book reads. These are dynamic mics so no powering needed from the pack.
