Scott Smith
Bruce Nazarian passed away from a heart attack this past Friday. Most here may know his name from the days he operated a post facility (Gnome Sound) at the Lantana building, and later Magnolia in Burbank. He was not only an accomplished engineer, but also a talented musician, who began his career in Detroit. To his credit, Bruce stuck around the Motor City longer than I did, trying to remain engaged in the music business after Berry Gordy unceremoniously pulled up stakes and moved Motown to LA. Much more here, in a better tribute than I could possibly do: https://larryjordan.com/blog/in-memoriam-bruce-nazarian/ -S
old school
I knew his name, but I don't think I ever met Bruce. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP Bruce. CrewC
Bondelev
Bruce was on the board of the MPSE when I joined. Very, very nice guy. A totally unique individual. Everyone here would have liked him. Very knowledgeable in many areas, and also a talented musician.
