DodoHu
There is a TC in plug on the QRX 235. So how do I jam TC from an external source like a Sounddevices 663? I tried to find it in the menu and the manual but couldn't find it. I can only find how to jam TC via Zaxnet or UHF signal. Any ideas? RadoStefanov
Did you read the manual? Did you go through all the menus? What transmitter are you using to the qrx235? Does the qrx235 have a qifb zaxnet board? This is not really ideal since the qrx235 will not generate an accurate time code and will loose it if the power is lost for a bit. But if you really have to do it: the timecode input is a 3.5 plug. Tip is out and ring is in. You make a cable that goes to the in. Select in the IFB extended menu time code frame rate and Autojam. Plug the time code from master. Edited November 22, 2015 by RadoStefanov
DodoHu
Did you read the manual? Yes. Did you go through all the menus?Yes. What transmitter are you using to the qrx235?Normally I am using the TRXLA2. But in this case I want the QRX235 only as a feed for TC to Zaxnet, so all TRXs and ERXs are synched to the rest of the equipment. Does the qrx235 have a qifb zaxnet board?Yes. Cable! It might be the cable. I connected both tips in the minijack, so I can use the cable as in and out. It worked on a nomad. But maybe I got to test two different cables with the sound devices or with the camera tc out.

That is the problem you - can't connect the tip and ring together
