zaxcom QRX235 jam timecode from external source

Did you read the manual?

Did you go through all the menus?

What transmitter are you using to the qrx235?

Does the qrx235 have a qifb zaxnet board?

This is not really ideal since the qrx235 will not generate an accurate time code and will loose it if the power is lost for a bit.

But if you really have to do it:

the timecode input is a 3.5 plug. Tip is out and ring is in. You make a cable that goes to the in.

Select in the IFB extended menu time code frame rate and  Autojam.

Plug the time code from master.

Yes.

Yes.

Normally I am using the TRXLA2. But in this case I want the QRX235 only as a feed for TC to Zaxnet, so all TRXs and ERXs are synched to the rest of the equipment.

Yes.

Cable! It might be the cable. I connected both tips in the minijack, so I can use the cable as in and out. It worked on a nomad. But maybe I got to test two different cables with the sound devices or with the camera tc out.
