KGraham045
I asked this. "2 XLRs are because so many cameras can’t switch a single input into two inputs on the camera. Makes it an easy way to make sure left and right are always getting fed. Editors get really mad when the audio is only on one side. It screws up their mono aggregated signal." RadoStefanov
I like to put the camera mic on one input incase the camera operator switches off the erx. I have been asking for ERX with no switch since erx1. Had to do it myself in the end.
KGraham045
I agree I like having a camera mic on 1 input as well. Just in case. Great idea to disable on/off switch. I have mine in the Orca case which at least has a plastic cover over the switch.

RadoStefanov
Nice work Brian. Consider right angle XLRs. The full size XLRs stick out on cameras and put a strain on the cable.
John Blankenship
A nice feature of the newer model Neutrik right angle XLRs is that the direction of the right angle can be easily rotated in the field.

Great info. Sometimes post is very particular about which channel the mix track goes on.
