dsound
Any ideas out there or knowledge of something in the pipeline? Thanks, D
johngooch
Yes please! I asked SD about a cover a few months ago. David--are you thinking of making something? I like the idea of something solid-- that i can use as a quick work surface.
bmfsnd
I give my CL-12 its own Pelican.
BAB414
Does it somehow live in the Pelican (modified?) or do you take it out and plug it in every time?
RadoStefanov
I made a cover for my mix-8 with cordura fabric and closed cell foam.
johngooch
Something like the sonosax covers...? integral to the design of the panel.....
old school
Any pix Rado? We all use our gear in various configurations so I'm not sure a one size fits all cover is doable but I'm not a designer. CrewC
Philip Perkins
Does the cl12 have a slot or etc that a piece of plex might slide into (like the Sax consoles)? When I used to have my old Audio Developments mixer permanently mounted on my cart I made a cover out of an REI backpack rain cover (waterproof fabric with elastic around the opening) with a piece of foam (in contact with the mixer) and a piece of foamcore on top of that (for stiffness)--that was the cover for that mixer for about 12 years. It seems like Orca or Portabrace or KTek could come up with something similar. It would be great if the cover folded up so you didn't end up with yet another large awkward thing to have to find a place for on the cart. Jim Feeley
Think there's some Mackie or other already-made MI mixer accessory that'd do the job for a soft cover? Theirs are available aftermarket. http://mackie.com/products/accessories Or maybe some hard cover from Deck Saver would kinda fit? They make a bunch, but they're device specific, so that may not work well. For example: http://www.decksaver.com/covers/mixer-covers/sixty-eight-cover Something right from SD (or designed to fit their panel) would be cool, though... Matthew Sonnenfeld
Ron Meyer is working on a permanent mounting solution for the Euro Cart. When I spoke with him I suggested a lid or a covered drawer. Maybe if enough people ask him he will make one rack standard or with different mounting options. old school
Looks OK... Functional.. Thanks. CrewC
Philip Perkins
That's perfect, if it has a little padding to protect the faders and can be folded up when not needed.
RadoStefanov
Buy the cordura fabric and the closed cell foam. Find an upholster in your town and pay him a few bucks to build you the cover. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I80QH3S?keywords=cordura&qid=1451770663&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1 http://www.amazon.com/Silicone-Closed-Cell-Sheet-Firmness-Backing/dp/B00JF44OIQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1451770725&sr=8-3&keywords=closed+cell+foam+sheet
