Wandering Ear
Anyone have photos of how you're using the snorkel? Can you sneak it through a button hole with a button there?
Eric Toline
Yes you can but holding it in place requires some tape on the back side.

The concealer / button hole mount do seem excellent. Have you been using those much, Rado? I am still waiting for DPA to send me some. John Blankenship
Gotham in NY has a video that includes the Snorkel in use: https://www.gothamsound.com/library/gstv-dpa-microphones
Olle Sjostrom
We've had great results with the snorkel under buttons. A bit of sticky stuff or equivalent holds the Slim firmly in place. It's been my go to rig for people running, specifically ambulance personnel running with hospital beds down corridors. RadoStefanov
I use the shnorkel with bubblebee tape and it holds well. Have not tried with topstick
cjh
Hi all, anymore intel re DPA bringing out a low DC slim for zax Trx's? If not what's the general feeling re low or high sensitivity version for zax trx use? (I use mostly 4063's but want to add a few slims to the kit). Thanks, Chris. jan deca
Hi, I'm using the 4063 for years now exclusively with Zaxcom. I've just added a slim to my arsenal and I'm really pleased with it. Because there is much more gain because it's a normal DC version instead of the 3v, you get extra gain, and therefor is the noise floor very acceptable imho. Still in the first day's of trying them out, but I'm very pleased already. My dealer said there was no intention of DPA to make a low DC version.
