Fascinating!!!  Thanks fer the great read.  I'm surprised that the article does not mention that while no solid evidence exists to link knuckle-cracking to arthritis, the HABIT of constantly pushing or pulling on delicate joints can lead to strain.  The article makes the point that it takes 20 minutes before one can re-crack a knuckle, but makes no mention of ill effects from trying to crack em too many times.  I know in the past when I "over cracked" my fingers got sore!  (Now I barely ever crack em.)
