Philip Perkins
Here in SF the remaining shard of Lectro Block 27 is already occupied by DTV stations. I wondered if this was true everywhere? Philip Perkins

Glen Trew
Here in SF the remaining shard of Lectro Block 27 is already occupied by DTV stations. I wondered if this was true everywhere? Philip Perkins I used 6 channels in blocks 26 and 27 (three channels in each block) in and around Nashville and Los Angeles successfully. Granted, I had to fine-tune a little more diligently in Los Angeles, but those blocks worked about as well as others (I also had blocks 21/22). Philip Perkins
That's good--the land mobile folks are going to take over most of block 27 here (the part that the DTV stations aren't using), but with all the budget cutbacks I wonder how soon the emergency services will be able to light up new systems in that band. 28 is still fine here too, but same deal w/ emergency services after Feb 19 (I guess).
