The principal actor in the film, that 12 year old girl lost her voice just before the shooting started and never regained it through the six weeks of filming. Stress, I was told. I went to the old villa on a day off and recorded IR (Impulse Responses) in every room with multiple mics and different sources of transients. Sound post was done in SF, and i got a mail from them saying "thank you" three times.
