echo
Hey guys, my 411a is draining 9vs very quickly. Lithiums are lasting two hours. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before? Probably best to send it off to lectro?
Glen Deakin
No Doesn't sound right. Send it in.
Gordonmoore1
That's an exceptionally high current drain - try it with alkaline - if it behaves properly with them, the lithium's might be imitations.
LarryF
Almost sounds like NiCad or NiMh 9 Volts, not lithiums. As Gordon suggested, try Eveready 9 Volts. They are the best at high drain. If the units are indeed pulling high currents, you should get 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours of life. The 411 should be getting warm also. Make sure both batteries are being drained. If only one battery is making contact, you will get very short life. Simply switch battery positions to see if one battery is undrained or use a Voltmeter on the "drained" batteries to see if both are at the same low voltage, 7.5 Volts or less unloaded.
