816T Repair

I have an older 816T that needs repair, but Sennheiser doesn't do them anymore.   I called a couple of local places here that both passed on it as well.   

Anyone know of anyone that will still fix these older mics?

Did you try any of the usual suspects that have service departments?  

Which places have you checked that declined to work on it?

You could even get it converted to work with P48.

I'm surprised Sennheiser won't do it, considering that Neumann will repair any of their mics from any year.

I recently heard that Sennheiser is more inclined to replace than repair nowadays. Even the 8000 series they are straight replacing.

I would love a solid lead on repairs for this sort of mic. I actively ise my 815T, and a friend of mine recently scored one as well. I'd love to be able to service it when the day comes, instead of having to replace it with another 40 year old mic that will likely give out sooner than later.

Mr.Verrando upgrades t power microphones to 48.  Do a search. You shall find what your looking for.
