glenn
Zaxcom High Density Wireless At NAB Zaxcom introduced ZHD. This new wireless transmission mode breaks new ground in the area of broadcast wireless microphones. Here is some key information: Channel spacing is as close as 100 kHz (60 channels in 6 MHz) The operating distance can be up to double our current system RF reflections enhance the transmission No intermodulation Internal transmitter recording RF remote control with ZaxNet Ultra accurate automatic time code recording reference (No Cable Jamming) 100 MHz transmitter tuning range 200 MHz receiver tuning range 90 mW output power in ZHD mode The most common question we had at the show of "Can a QRX200 be used in dual mode with two transmitters" has now been answered. The answer is yes! Using a new TRXLA3, TRXLT3 or a TRX743 transmitter the QRX200, QRX235 and RX12 can all receive 2 transmitters per receiver with a minimum channel spacing of 200KHz. I want to thank everyone for coming by to see us at NAB. Glenn
Nate C
Wow, Howy didn't waste any time figuring out how to get two channels to work on current receivers. Is he allowed to sleep.

RadoStefanov
Glenn, I know I might be hard on you often but this time I have to say: Bravo to You. And Bravo to Howy. You made the right decision allowing ZHD to work with 200 series receivers in dual mode thus requiring upgrade of only transmitters. I am extremely impressed. I can not wait to put ZHD to work. BRAVO again.
davidm
Will the new transmitters have reduced RF power outputs that function in ZHD mode? If so, does a 3db or 6 db drop in the RF output power of the RF linear amplifier result in a significant drop in battery power consumption? If the extended operating range isn't needed then longer battery runtime would be worthwhile.
glenn
Battery life does not change with ZHD. 6 Hours with a TRXLA3 and about 3.5 Hours with a TRXLT3. Glenn
