MM400 wiring to take Line level ?

To use as a hop send - Does anyone know can you do this ? - I'm assuming not since I can't find any info and the minijack is single pole

Connect the line level feed to pin 5 on the TA5 connector. Pin 5 is for line level & pin 3 is for mic level. The ground is always pin 1.

Can you put a large enough resister in line? I've had some resisters put into the locking mini connector of emw mics for my mm400 transmitters because they were too hot to allow any room on the gain dial for adjustments.

I think the MM400 has a 2.5mm TRS connector. If it's mic level only, a padded cable could be made (which Eric can likely do) if you can't solder it together yo'self.

The 5k resistor can be increased in value if you need greater attenuation. 50K in place of the 5k, would give you 20 dB more attenuation. There is a lot of good, free info on the site and electrical diagrams of all matching cables for all devices.
