Matthew Sonnenfeld
Anyone else watching Sonic Sea on Discovery Channel? Very interesting special on how industrial shipping, oil and gas prospecting, and other large scale mainly corporate factors are causing huge amounts of sound pollution in the oceans and its affect on marine life. Very well done if not disturbing piece. And yes, a lot of cool hydrophone work.

bilagaana
Read a book called Whale Wars by one of the guys in the film. I forget his name but he was the former naval officer that found all the dead beaked whales in the Bahamas. Interesting book.
