osa
I own a bunch of 11's and 11D's purchased from a usual suspect and upon looking closely at the band - anyone know how can you tell a D from non-D's? Mine seem to be all numbers 16xxx for D's and 10xxx for the older but not sure this is accurate to go off of when buying used -Ken
Johnny Karlsson
This may be a hint, if you know how old they are: https://zaxcom.com/sanken-partners-with-zaxcom-for-new-cos-11d-lavalier-microphone-designed-for-digital-and-analogdigital-transmitters/
osa
Brilliant! That gave me the direct line to plus24 and their service dept was able to tell me what model based on serial number. Working on finding out if there is a particular serial number and above that confirm D, but they indicated it might not be the case. 16xxxx seem to be a safe bet. thanks for the link -Ken
Mark Orusa
I posted some serial number information in a post some years ago: http://jwsoundgroup.net/index.php?/topic/9552-which-sanken-cos-11-for-which-serial-numbers/
osa
Bummer you had a pic link where you referenced the D stamp that i was hoping to see but the link is now dead i believe. Appreciate the serial info though, still a great reference -Ken
