Wandering Ear Posted July 29, 2016 Report Share Posted July 29, 2016 I've had a string of broadcast commercials recently who don't list my company as the sound vendor, even though they list smaller vendors like "hard drives" etc. I'm wondering how others handle this? Ignore it cause it doesn't matter that much? Ask for a change? The only situation that i can think of it mattering is if someone in accounting asks why there is an invoice from someone not listed on the vendor list, which has not happened to me. I've never understood the logic of what/who gets included there but I don't think it has any legal mojo one way or the other if that's what you are worried about? old school Posted July 31, 2016 Report Share Posted July 31, 2016 Sometimes I'm listed, other times not. If it's a real company doing the work I do, not even an issue for me. For the records being generated, I think anyone listed as sound man? mixer? audio? is implied as vendor for that gig. Never been an issue thus far. CrewC r.
