Recommendations for lavalier mic repair

Recommended Posts

Hey guys

So my TR-50 appears to be crapping out on me. Pretty sure its an intermittent connector issue. I'd like to get it repaired and curious if anyone has recommendations? I'm based in Toronto, so any local recommendations would be excellent. I've also come across a few online repair services - does anyone have experiences with these companies? Would you recommend any in particular?

Thanks,

Sean

Trew Audio.. can repair it if it's a connector issue. If it's at the element, that usually can't be fixed.

You could also try Javed at audio services in Toronto. But like another member stated if it's at the head that  repair (or repair attempt) may cost more then the mic might actually be worth.

maybe it's time to try doing the repair yourself. Connector issues are very common, and a basic repair, that you should learn to do eventually.

Any good resources online for this?
