Wandering Ear Posted August 10, 2016 Report Share Posted August 10, 2016 Startech and others make cheap phone interfaces that plug into the headphone port and allow you to fees a mono mic level signal into the phone. Depending on the phone you're using there are higher quality interfaces too, but the cheap headset interfaces will be just fine for this. tomsalyer Posted August 13, 2016 Report Share Posted August 13, 2016 Thanks to a suggestion from this list, I've successfully used an Apple Lightening to USB Camera Adapter cable to send audio to an iPhone 6s from the USB out of a Sound Devices Mix Pre D, for a Cooking Network live Face Book webcast. Mungo Posted August 14, 2016 Report Share Posted August 14, 2016 iRig Pro (not the "normal" IRig) is a wonderful tool. I've recorded some facebook posts with it. I switched the XLR output of the 633 down to -10 and set level manually. Very good sound and you can use your sound equipment the same way as with any professional camera. Mono though.
