Constantin
Any user reviews appreciated. BLM collette apdapter with either mk4 or 41 vs BLM3C W20 ball gags - which one? Cut60 on the boom Thanks, C. BLM3 is much smaller and easier to hide. If that isn't an issue for you then the CCM/CMC mic can also be used for other situations. I cannot comment on sound as I only have the BLM3C. I don't use it much anymore, but if placed well it sounds fine. W20: I wouldn't bother. Get the B5D. If that doesn't work anymore, then get something with better wind protection, like a softie or whatever Cut60: don't have it, but why not? Derek H
Cut60 is fantastic. Adds an insignificant amount of weight and length and cuts just what you want cut and no more. I never used the additional roll-off on a cut 1 so for film use it's perfect.

cjh
Thanks for the replies, will add some cut60's into the mix. couple new B5D's too. Had schoeps for yrs but used mkh50 for most int dialogue and went to schoeps for when low profile or acoustic needed etc. Last film I did I used went back to using schoeps as main int dialogue mic and it was much nicer than the 50, we were shooting close though. We had one male character with a low level diction issues and the schoeps improved intelligibility with its more realistic bottom end.
