Ben B
Hi,I'm running into a small problem here. I want to put my UM400a into IFB mode to make it work with my R1 and R1a. I am following the steps as written in the manual but i can't seem to be able to change the compatibility mode at all. I tried to change it to other mode than IFB and it doesn't work either. It is for now stuck on mode 4 Hybrid. The unit has the IFB mode.Has anyone encounter the same problem? Thanks! Ben
Ben B
Solved! So for those who may run into the same problem, You just have to follow the steps in the manual (start with the unit off, C;C, On, Off, 5;5, On, Off, 0;0, On) but you have to do them pretty quick otherwise the unit will time out. Hi Ben, We were going to add another 14 steps to the sequence but we ran out of memory. Best, Larry F
Benherisson
Since we are talking about compatibility I have a question: I use an IFBt4 and some R1A but I would like to send a feed on a camera as hop and I wonder what receivers I could use? I want the smallest possible like UCR100 i don't want to hijack the tread thank's Oups sorry for the font and the blue color!
Ben B
I use a R1a. works great for what it should do!
Benherisson
yes I could do that but I am often short on R1A and find the volume is easy to change by accident
Ben B
I always tape over the volume knob.
