RyanDoesSound
I have a Sanken CS-3e and was wondering what the best lav mic would be to match the darker/warmer sound of my shotgun. I mostly do narrative work where I have to hide lavs under clothing,

Perhaps when it's outside clothing but not hidden under 1 or 2 layers of clothing. Not to worry, post will adjust to match.

Eric Toline
You might consider testing out a DPA lav if you can.
filmfreak
DPA & Saken lavs fit the bill ideally !
Johnny Karlsson
I use the CS3e along with both COS11D and DPA4061 - all good either way. One thing I have noticed is that the CS3e and COS11D tend to blend well when mixed together - that could be just a coincident given the circumstances of those times I have done so... or maybe a thing that Sanken indeed have designed to be that way...?
