soundmanjohn Report post #1 Posted May 19, 2017 Got to handle this little fella yesterday: no sharp corners, talent skin friendly, no external antenna, rechargeable battery giving seven hours continuous. No portable receivers as yet, but rack-mounted 2 & 4 channel units can be 12 v dc powered. Not cheap, but very neat.

Derek H Report post #4 Posted May 19, 2017 Isn't it like 30mW max? Also I know it has a wire belt lip on the other side, right? Is that removeable?
soundmanjohn Report post #5 Posted May 19, 2017 This unit is a pre-production model and the belt clip is fixed: production models will have a removeable clip. Not sure about power, but can probably find out.
TomBoisseau Report post #6 Posted May 21, 2017 The Shure Axient Digital system is looking quite impressive. What, with a bandwidth of 184Mhz, it's about the safest bet to avoid having your wireless becoming unusable / illegal for many years to come. I have serious doubts however that they will ever offer an ENG receiver. See their web page: http://www.shure.com/americas/axient-digital
